24 Hours Left! Last Chance! Hite = FUNDED! More July Campaign Names Announced!

$30 including worldwide first class shipping for the LotFP Rules & Magic in hardcover, corrected and with a new layout. ($22 if you're in Finland.)

$110 gets you four copies of that hardcover for you and your group in a tracked parcel. ($80 in Finland.) Oh yeah, AND THE KENNETH HITE ADVENTURE. It's FUNDED! There are other options from there (personalized greeting, 4 copies of the adventure, or unique Aino Purhonen art drawn directly in the rulebooks).

If we hit $17,000 the Rules and Magic books will be printed as separate hardcovers... so for every copy of the Rules & Magic book you thought you'd get, you'll get a Rules and a Magic book as well.

Any leftovers from the print run certainly won't be available for $30 including first class shipping so you better move your butt if you're at all interested.

  1. So, with less than a day left in the IndieGoGo campaign for the LotFP Hardcover and Adventures Project, and with the separate Rules & Magic books on the line, are any of the big names attached to the project finally going to mention it on their own blogs, sites & such? No? I thought not. Lame.

  2. Wow Ed. That's pretty negative and unlikely to get the result you want.

I'm super excited the Kenneth Hite adventure funded!

  3. Nobody is obligated to talk about my stuff on their blogs. I don't often mention people's stuff here, so it's hardly something to get mad about.

However, "How likely are they to actively promote their adventure?" was a consideration in choosing the July adventure writers.

  4. "That's pretty negative..."

Yes. Negativity is exactly what people like that deserve. They haven't done the right thing either just because it's the right thing to do or because they were enticed by the carrot of money. So they get the stick of public scorn instead.

"and unlikely to get the result you want."

Probably. But that's just because people like that probably don't care what other people think about them any more than they care about those other people. But that doesn't mean it's not still worth trying, though.

You don't at least mention other people's stuff that you've agreed to be part of? I find that very hard to believe.

Good. Personally, I'd make active promotion of the project required for participation in it. If they don't actively promote it, they're out.

  5. Hi, I guess many people, and I'm one of them, would jump right away in funding the individual adventure kickstarters. Any chance of us seeing some of those authors not funded now, like Graeme Davis and Frank Mentzer in new projects ?

    1. Big individual adventures crowdfunding thing happening next month (see the last few posts on the blog) but largely a new lineup.
