The video does shed some light on one thing... the difference between professional reviewers and not-professional reviewers is that pro reviewers write in corny, but quotable lines.
This isn't a bad thing in most cases - enthusiastic "amateurs" generally say more and more useful things about what they're reviewing. But they're crap for pulling quotes for ads like this. :)
I really didn't want to use the "D&D" name (since my game has nothing to do with the D&D game currently published by Wizards of the Coast) when putting the ad together but these reviewers happened to use it with the juiciest quotes.
Looks great. Only problem is that the quotes flip by too fast so I can read them before they are gone. I gotta go scroll backwards to read them, and that breaks up the music - probably something you'd prefer viewers not have to do.
The quotes were more for giving an impression based on whatever words you pick out.
It would have been worse to have the ad linger on too long, especially since there was a good chance people would see it multiple times during the weekend...

@Jim - Ah, in that case, what I saw on first go through was:
ReplyDelete"CREEPY GYGAX OTUS BLOODY ELEGANT VORNHEIM"
:)

Gets the message across well enough then, aye? :D
