    I always thought that the original Hellraiser should've been filmed for laughs. It's just timing tweaks away from hilarity.

    May I recommend the BBC modern vampire hunting miniseries "Ultraviolet". Conspiracy to blot out the sun, charcoal bullets, guns with minicams and LCD screens b/c the vampires don't show up on video, freeze dried vampires, vampire fetuses which don't appear on sonograms. It's great!

    and pretty much every Paul Naschy movie on that list too.

    Antichrist is very impressive and creepy as all hell.

    I also really enjoyed, though not horror, Nicholas Refn's Valhalla Rising. A Danish director doing Vikings well.
