Gun Porn!

It's what LotFP's been missing, and what The God that Crawls is going to give.

  1. Ooooh. I was contemplating archaic firearms for LotFP just the other day. Excitement!

  2. Awesome. Have you thought about magic guns? I want a rune-carved arquebus! I once ran a weird west style game where one player had a pair of "magic wands" that were pearl-handled Colt .45s. He had a bandolier of different colored bullets, and each color had a different spell effect when fired.

    1. I don't even think about magic swords these days, so a magic gun is way out of my field of vision... I'm sure the DIY blog crowd will have their say about the subject though.

  4. OK, I'm disappointed, I see a Gun, but no Porn. You need to put a picture of a Hot Naked Elf Chick masturbating with a flintlock. ;)

  5. I have really sucked at ordering anything lately. Arrgh term papers make me a hateful man.

But I did GM LotFP tonight and the parties mage bought it to a pair of goblin spears in the first round of the first combat. The player looked at me horrified and I explained that attacking with a dagger from the front rank was a poor tactic.

He pulled out his alternate pre-rolled character and we got on with the game.

A specialist pulled an 18hp backstab off to drop an ogre in one go three rounds later, so go figure.

  6. The adventures will be available for separate order after they're printed... although it looks like, after shipping, you'll pay a bit more than you would have by contributing because Monolith will be 48 pages instead of 32, and God that Crawls has an extra full-color insert that wasn't planned before the campaign started.

I don't go to my bunk for anything less than a wheellock.

  8. Looks very cool - now I really hope to run a LotFP-style renaissance Italy scoundrel monsterhunters with guns campaign.

Still aiming for getting the books out in April?

    1. Hoping to get them to press by the end of the month, which would mean May release.
