The comp copies went out earlier in the week, and they've started to land.
Take a look at one person's photo report here.
You can still order at (economy) shipping-included prices here.
Ropecon starts tomorrow, and we'll be busy morning noon and night through Sunday. Then starting Monday it's mega-mass mailout time. See you all then.

Jim, I ordered about an hour ago and I just want to verify that I "don't* want the sanitized US edition. :) Please send the real thing. Thanks and congrats! Best of luck at the Con. Sincerely, Jim Pacek
ReplyDeleteThat hex map is awesome. I was excited before about this, but now I'm looking forward to this even more.
ReplyDeleteThere are different versions of the artwork for advertisements and retail posters, but all of the actual boxes are the same. No "alternate art" for the product itself.
ReplyDeleteFantastic! Great news! Thanks for all your hard work!
ReplyDeleteYeah, I agree about that hex map. It is fertile ground for new ideas. One can't help to look at it and start drifting through the possibilities. I've been hankering to do a 1st edition AD&D game, but this may come first. Is there a PDF version that I can print out and write on guilt free?

ReplyDeleteCANNOT. WAIT. FOR. MINE!
Please, Time, move faster!
I haven't started on the real pdf versions of these things yet, but Weird New World does have 4 pages at the back where the map is reproduced in coastline-only black and white, suitable for writing or copying/scanning and writing.
ReplyDeleteYou know, James, you are proving me wrong on the OSR as a viable means of income and I am not too proud to thank you for it.
ReplyDeleteIn many posts I have wished you luck but doubted the ability for someone to thrive at it, and you are starting too. You are driven and dedicated and it is paying off.
Now, if you will excuse me, I am going to go and have a hat made of cheesecake so I can "eat my hat".
I just ordered ten boxes and 14 modules for my store. Lets hope they fly off the shelves. ;)
ReplyDeleteI just realized that the body of the snake demon looks just like Black Leaf, one of my corn snakes. Aww!
